Built for combat and destruction, the Exterminator is the primary fighting machine of the Martian invasion. Armed with its devastating Heat Ray, the Exterminator can eviscerate anything that stands in its way. Its weapon is designed to turn enemies into nothing more than ash, making it one of the most dangerous machines on the battlefield. But the Exterminator isn't defenseless. An energy-based defensive system protects the Tripod from incoming projectiles, allowing it to withstand attacks from enemies attempting to fight back from a distance. The Harvester was not created simply to destroy. It was created to harvest. Using its powerful machinery, the Harvester can capture and harvest mobs throughout the world, turning living creatures into resources for the Martian invasion. But the harvesting is only the beginning. The creatures taken by the Harvester help spread the Martians' influence across the world. Red Weed begins to infest the environment, slowly transforming the landscape into something resembling the Martians' own world. Unlike the other Tripods, the Uberpod relies on overwhelming force and advanced weapons to dominate its targets.
