Open Source — Coming after Beta

After the beta period, the entire source code will be released publicly so that anyone can propose changes or create their own version of the site. Those who do so will also be given the opportunity to start with an initial pool of around 2,000 posts — so they're visible to the entire Minecraft community right away, without the "small site" effect caused by a young platform.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of minecraftschem.com (the "Site"). By creating an account or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Site. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you upload (builds, schematics, images, text). By posting it, you grant MinecraftSchem a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute that content on the Site for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.

You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to share it. Do not upload content that infringes copyright or other rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Post illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or malicious content.
Upload malware, or content that harms the Site or its users.
Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights of others.
Spam, scam, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or accounts.
Abuse, disrupt, overload, or attempt to bypass the security of the Site.

5. Premium / exclusive content

Some content is offered through third-party platforms such as Patreon and may require a paid subscription there. Purchases and subscriptions are governed by that platform's terms. MinecraftSchem does not process payments directly.

6. Intellectual property & takedowns

If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, contact us at the email below with details (the work, the infringing URL, and your contact info). We will review and remove infringing content where appropriate.

7. Moderation & termination

We may edit, remove, or restrict content and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community, at our discretion.

8. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that files, schematics, or downloads are error-free, complete, or fit for any purpose. Use them at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MinecraftSchem and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.
